Summer is definitely wrapping up but doesn’t mean there isn’t still time for a last minute road trip! We’ve taken a few trips this summer with the boys so I decided to put together a list of what I would definitely consider my Must Haves for road trip survival.
1. B. Toys Magnetic Sketchboard – I don’t know what it is about this toy but both my almost 5 year old and my 1 year old love it! My oldest uses it to practices his spelling and my youngest just gets a kick out of scribbling on it!
2. Scissors – Ok, so this is actually a #momlife survival tip! I always keep a pair of scissors in my glove box of my vehicle. We use them on at least a weekly basis when out and about!
3. Annie’s Bunny Snack Packs – My boys love anything from Annie’s. Thankfully their favorite bunnies come in handy snack packs now!
4. Seventh Generation Paper Towel – Just trust me on this one! Whenever we are going on an adventure I pack a roll of paper towels. Yes, restaurant napkins from the glove box work in a pinch, but on road trips accidents are bound to happen!
5. Paw Patrol Chase Headphones – Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol we’ll be there on the double! I’ve heard that theme song over, and over, and over…these headphones are the perfect size for little heads and for mommy’s sanity.
6. Apple iPad Mini 2 – For road trips I am completely willing to hand over my iPad mini to keep the littles entertained!
7. Thirty One Large Utility Tote – I love my Thirty-One Large Utility tote for road trips! It fits perfectly in the aisle between the two seats in the 2nd row of my SUV (I’m guessing it would fit great in a mini van too!)
8. Adventures in Odyssey – This is a new Must Have in our family! I remember Adventures in Odyssey from when I was a kid…I can’t believe I have a little one old enough to listen to them now!
With Love, Jennifer
