On the fourth day of Christmas my darling baked for me Girly & Glam Spritz Cookies.
I recently posted a Mint Mocha Spritz recipe…Spritz dipped in a mocha glaze and sprinkled with crushed peppermint. Yum! But this recipe is a simpler more traditional Spritz. The cookie is the same but this time we are decorating them with candy pearls and silvery sugar sprinkles to turn these buttery cookies into Girly & Glam Spritz Cookies.
Plus make sure you check out these amazing Spritz Helpful Tips by Baking and Flowers for 5 (also check out her mouthwatering Instagram profile!)
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Using a stand mixer, beat together the butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and almond extract. Beat it for about 3-4 minutes; you want it to be light and fluffy. Add flour and salt and mix together on low speed until well combined.
- Fill your cookie press with the dough and attach whatever disk you want to use to shape your cookies (refer to your cookie press instructions.) Use your press to shape the dough onto your parchment lined cookie sheet leaving about 1″ between each cookie.
- Decorate the unbaked cookies with sprinkles, sanding sugar, or candied pearls.
- Bake until set and just starting to turn golden around the edges, about 6-7 minutes. Let cool completely!

I am so sorry! My Recipe Card Plugin has failed. Working quickly to get it back up and running…I can handle baking but computer stuff freaks me out! 😉
