Kid-friendly food. What exactly does that mean? I find it so depends on the tastes of each child but there are some staples in our house that almost appear to be fail-proof! I had the pleasure of trying out some tried and true favorites but also some new options that both boys love. But one more idea before we dive in to all these yummy finds; I’ve noticed that if the boys get involved with helping shop, put away the groceries or preparing they are more apt to try new things. And sometimes their favorite treats find their way into the boy’s own little kitchen cabinets (nonperishable only of course!)
Kid-Friendly Food #1: Classic Meatless Meatballs from Gardein
Shh…don’t tell the boys these are meatless! When I was cooking up a sample Hunter exclaimed “something smells so good!” And with Hunter especially, anything with marinara sauce is sure to find it’s way into his belly! These plant based meatballs are vegan certified, dairy free and free of all artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. Store Classic Meatless Meatballs from Gardein the freezer for a quick weeknight meal!
Kid-Friendly Food #2: Squeezable Organic Coconut Manna from Nutiva
One of Carter’s favorite school lunches is a sandwich made with a spreadable nut chocolate. Well as soon as I saw that Squeezable Coconut Manna from Nutiva came in a chocolate flavor I knew what I’d be substituting! And he didn’t even notice the difference! Nutiva is offering a special disocount for my readers. Use code SQUEEZE25! for 25% off all Organic Coconut Manna Flavors (offer valid 8/31/19 – 11/13/19; cannot be combined with other offers, limit one use per customer).
Kid-Friendly Food #3: Probiotic Apple Sauce Pouches and Probiotic Apple Drinking Vinegar from North Coast Organic
We are huge believers in Probiotics in this house as they help treat digestive issues. So adding it right into Apple Sauce Pouches which my boys already love? Ingenious! And I’m already a huge fan of Apple Cider Vinegar so love the idea of having the added benefit of probiotics in a no sugar added, preservative free option. North Coast Organics is offering a $1 coupon valid now until December 31, 2019. Click here!

Kid-Friendly Food #5: Pantry Classic Ranch and Ketchup from Tessemae’s
For Carter everything is better with ranch. For Hunter, it has to be ketchup. I only ever buy these pantry staples if they are organic so was so excited to see that the Pantry Classic Ranch and Ketchup from Tessemae’s was indeed organic! Their Pantry Classic Ranch is even Dairy Free, Gluten Free and has No Sugar Added. Their Ketchup is naturally sweetened with organic dates and white balsamic vinegar. And whether you are team ranch or team ketchup both options are Whole30 and Keto approved.
