Midweek Must Haves #9: Beauty Counter

I love makeup and I am usually a huge fan of the Allure Best of Beauty list. So when Christina, a consultant at Beauty Counter, approached me and asked me if I had ever heard of Beauty Counter I was shocked to realize I hadn’t! Especially since both the mascara and Lip Sheer are Allure Best of Beauty winners!

Be sure to check out the full line of Beauty Counter (and if you hurry they are currently giving away my favorite product, the Body Butter, when you spend $125!) I tried most of today’s Must Have items and also have a few on my list that I will be trying in the near future.

1. Lip Sheer (in Twig or Terra) – I keep reaching for this neutral lip sheer in place of my chap stick! And both Twig & Terra are the perfect neutrals. It’s really lives up to it’s name as a sheer so it is perfect for those days when you want a softer lip (but can’t bare to go without lipstick!)

2. Body Butter – My new favorite! I will be using this big time especially with our harsh New England winters! It is so soft and light but you can tell it is working the minute you put it on. Plus it has such a soft citrus smell…definitely not overpowering which is perfect for daily use.

3. Lip Gloss (Ruby) – The perfect holiday lip gloss. Great if you aren’t quite ready to commit to a bold red lip.

4. Lengthening Mascara – This black mascara was easy to apply, made my lashes look long, lasted all day and was easy to take off at the end of the day…Plus it’s an Allure Best of Beauty 2016 award winner. Can’t go wrong with that!

5. Eye Shadow (Pearl/Champagne) – So I haven’t tried this one yet but this palette stuck out to me because it is so hard to find a duo eye shadow palette were both the colors can be used on the whole lid and for highlighting. I always have way too much of my dark shadow colors left as I only accent with the darker tones. Way to go Beauty Counter by offering 2 light shades as a duo!

6. Hand Cream – I also haven’t tried this yet but if it is half as good as the Body Butter then it will be amazing! And it is in the same Citrus Mimosa as the Body Butter so I know the scent will be to die for.
